Being “pro-children” is about the easiest political stance you can ever take. I bet you could string together speech excerpts from every political figure of the modern era touting their support for kids. What’s harder is supporting this kid:
whose parents couldn’t get health insurance other employment benefits extended to their spouse and kids because it was more politically convenient to demagogue gay people under DOMA. Plus adding ways for couples to share employment benefits hurts the bottom line of major corporations. #SameLove
OR these kids:
whose parents have the gall to want a livable wage for their work, and maybe even have a dime or two left over to squirrel away for their kids education. Unfortunately this buts up against WalMart’s desire to line it’s shareholders pockets. #FightFor15
Or this kid:
who’s left with one parent cause his dad got caught with rock cocaine. If you are going to do cocaine do it the way they do it the way God, Goldman Sachs and the rest of Wall Street intended; powdered off the ass of a stripper through a rolled up $100 bill. Or these kids:
just look at them. Firstly, they’re brown. Secondly, their parents were probably Muslim. Thirdly, they had the gall to build their civilization on top of the oil reserves we’d eventually need. Dummies…. #MIC #Interventionists #Imperialism
