The most tragic thing about Warren not running is how little energy there will be for the first presidential election with a woman nominee (should Clinton survive the Sanders challenge). Man, it would have been great to have had an authentic candidate, who was ready to take on the billionaire class and bankers, and who could add massive energy to the campaign by the historic nature of HER run. Like Peron, you'll find no greater or more authentic female champion for the worker, and the little guy, than Warren. A Warren vs Jeb Bush match up would have resulted in historic turnouts (65% or higher), an energized progressive base, and clear "populist outsider -vs- stale ideas conservative" narrative. Instead we're looking at a Bush vs Clinton potential match sure to disengage 1/2 of the electorate with tons of old baggage and bullshit drama to distract the electorate. Pretty sad to think about such a historic race with 40% turnout. -More below
