Anyone who’s had a sibling or gone to public school in their life has likely experienced the “stop hitting yourself” game. Now, do you think for a second the bully in this game believes the victim is punching himself? Of course not. Ditto for the thugs the bully surrounds himself with. The “joke” is; society condemns the violence I’m about to inflict, so I'll invent this absurd lie that the violence was self-inflicted. Everyone in on it can then laugh off any consequences and share in the same lie.

On the eve of Tuckers “Documentary” about the Jan 6th Insurrection, I’m going to predict a few things:
1) Tucker Carlson will lay out several batshit crazy conspiracy theories about Antifa and “deep state” plants causing the violence. This sensational garage is designed to ire liberals, and distract the media from the real message of the pro-Trump propaganda piece which is….
2) Tucker will rebrand the “Stop the Steal” rally from the weak 25,000 showing to numbers in line with actual popular movements like the 2017 Women's March and March for Our Lives and Million Man March protests that drew hundreds of thousands. My bet is Tucker will Inflate the crowd numbers to over 400,000 and repeat those equally batshit crazy estimates over and over.
3) Equally crazy legal justifications and election fraud conspiracies will be packaged in the “documentary”. Presenting the insurrectionists as patriots with a righteous grievance, instead of fools ginned up on lies by a conman. Look for the words “fraud” and “Justice” repeated over and over.
4) Prosecution of the insurrectionists will be continually conflated with the perceived persecution of ALL of the people who voted for Trump. Look for the words “74 Million Trump Voters” to be repeated over and over.
5) As designed, the MSM will glom onto item #1 and run endless headlines about Tucker denying the violence was Trump supporters, and completely ignore all the other (more important) crazy in the “documentary”.

What journalists need to remember covering the GQP is they know it was violent and they know it wasn’t Antifa. Just like everyone knows Milhouse isn’t hitting himself. It’s a Joke to them.
The real game is to rebrand the Jan 6th Insurrection as:
All the sensational noise they generate is designed to package and engrain as common knowledge these two fallacies. The MSM for its part fails miserably at fact-checking either of them.
Every time the Jan 6th rally and insurrection is covered without noting what an utter failure it was compared to other Rallies, and what a weak showing it was after a month of hyping as the last hope for Trump (25,000), is journalistic malpractice. More MSM malpractice is seen every time the rally motto “Stop the Steal” is mentioned without noting: “in fact, Trump exhausted all legal channels and lost 60 cases in state courts to try and establish fraud, and the election has been audited and re-audited in many states and proven to be free and fair.”
Don’t fall for the distractions.
